December 14, 2020, was the date when certified electors met to cast their electoral votes for the candidate who won the popular vote in their respective states. However, groups of fake electors also met on this same date to cast electoral votes for President Trump in states that he had lost. This was part of a coordinated scheme that took shape as ‘President of the Senate’ strategy discussed throughout this chapter.
